How to get any job, even if you are unqualified
You probably have a dream job and would love to have it at some point in your life. Unfortunately, you may not have the requisite knowledge and skills required to get started. Well, I have some good news for you. That job you desire can be all yours if you did the few simple tips that I will be sharing in this short piece.
Basically, you can lie your way through the recruitment process. Trust me, it works. I have worked in recruitment and I have seen people who can hack the interview process, submit impeccable resumes and yet flunk at the job from the very first day to their last day on the job. So, is it doable? Yes. But is it sustainable? No!
Our other option is to patch up as we go. This works and as a matter of fact, workplaces encourage it. You have probably heard of continuous personal development. That’s exactly what it means to patch up as you go. Don’t let anybody fool you. No one is excellent at every aspect of any job. Hence, they must have to build new skills from time to time. There are 3 steps to this.
First, identify the needs that you will be meeting in the new job role. Second, match them against your skillset. Whatever the case may be, do not freak out. It gets better, I promise. It is possible that on a scale of 1 to 10, you are a 1. No worries at all if you are willing to make the sacrifices. Step three is to go acquire the skills that you need to perform at the job. By the time you are done implementing these, you might even become the best staff at your workplace. Remember, what differentiates the best staff in any workplace from the rest is personal development.
